THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 25) ORDER 2012

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 25th June 2012 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Orders will be to revise existing parking facilities as follows:

QUEENSWAY

  • a to replace an existing pay-by-phone parking bay outside Nos. 11 to 27 Queensway with a “white badge” disabled driver’s dedicated parking bay; and
  • b to relocate the existing “white” badge” disabled driver’s parking bay (No. D161) and the remaining pay-by-phone parking bays outside Nos. 11 to 27 Queensway approximately 1 metre northward.

HALLFIELD ESTATE ROADS

To replace 4 metres of single yellow line with “at any time” double yellow line waiting restrictions opposite the north-eastern corner of Nos. 1 – 22 Lynton House, Hallfield Estate.

  • 3 The Orders also correct minor anomalies to ensure that on-street parking corresponds with the existing Traffic Orders.
  • 4 The Orders, which will come into force on 30th June 2012 and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection until 6th August 2012 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 10th Floor, Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP.
  • 5 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
