THE HAVERING (BUS STOP CLEARWAY) (AMENDMENT NO. 9) TRAFFIC ORDER 2012.

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Havering, hereinafter called the Council, on 29 June 2012 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Waiting & Loading Restriction Order will be to impose:—
    • a waiting restrictions operative at any time on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1A to this Notice;
    • b waiting restrictions operative between 8.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. and between 2.30 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1B to this Notice.
  • 3 The general effect of the Pay & Display Parking Places and Disc Parking Places Orders will be to remove the existing disc parking places and to provide pay & display parking places, operative between 8.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the lengths of street specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice at a cost of 20 pence for the first hour then £1.40 for up to 1 hour 30 minutes and £2.00 for the maximum period of two hours.
  • 4 The general effect of the Bus Stop Clearway Order will be to impose ‘no stopping except buses’ restrictions operative at any time on the length of the street specified in Schedule 3 to this Notice.
  • 5 Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 29 June 2012, of the Orders being amended, together with the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be inspected until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Traffic & Parking Control, StreetCare, Mercury House, Mercury Gardens, Romford, Essex RM1 3SL.
  • 6 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the making of the Orders, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE 1A

Ellis Avenue, both sides, between the south-western kerb-line of Wennington Road and a point 10 metres south-west of that kerb-line.

Ferro Road, both sides, between the north-eastern kerb-line of Wennington Road and a point 10 metres north-east of that kerb-line.

Wennington Road

  • a the north-east side, between the north-western kerb-line of the access road to Brady School and a point 2.51 metres south-east of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 240 and 242 Wennington Road;
  • b the north-east side, between a point 5 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Ferro Road and a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Ferro Road;
  • c the south-west side, between a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Ellis Avenue and a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Ellis Avenue.

SCHEDULE 1B

Wennington Road, the south-west side, from a point 13.24 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 240 and 242 Wennington Road and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 211 and 213 Wennington Road.

SCHEDULE 2

Wennington Road

  • a the north-east side, from a point 20 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Ferro Road extending south-eastward for a distance of 29 metres;
  • b The north-east side, from a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Ferro Road extending north-westward for a distance of 28 metres.

SCHEDULE 3

Wennington Road, the north-east side, from a point 5 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Ferro Road extending south-eastward for a distance of 15 metres.
