THE CAMDEN (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) (CAMDEN TOWN EAST) TRAFFIC ORDER 2012

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on 20 June 2012 made this Order under Sections 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Order will come into force on 29 JUNE 2012 .

The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to:

  • a Introduce 20MPH speed limits for all vehicles travelling in Bayham Place, Bayham Street, Carol Street, Greenland Place, Greenland Road(between junctions with Greenland Place and Camden Street), Greenland Street, Kings Terrace, Pratt Mews, Pratt Street(between junctions with Camden High Street and Camden Street), Plender Street(between junctions with Camden High Street and Camden Street).

A copy of the Order, together with the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Fridays inclusive at the Contact Camden reception desk, first floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street, WC1H 8EQ.

Any person desiring to question the validity of either of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it or they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
