FERNIE CLOSE, FALLOW CLOSE, HURSLEY ROAD AND MANFORD WAY, SERVICE ROAD - INTRODUCTION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS

THE REDBRIDGE (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 8) ORDER 2012

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, on 25 June 2012 made the above mentioned Order in exercise of the powers, conferred by sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the waiting and loading restriction Order will be to further amend the Redbridge (Waiting and loading restriction) Order 1993 so as to introduce waiting restrictions operative “at any time” on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule to this Notice.

Details of exemptions from the restrictions for certain vehicles and persons, together with restrictions on selling or advertising in a restricted street are contained in the original Order of 1993.

  • 3 A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 2 July 2012, of the Order being amended, together with a plan showing the locations and effects of the Order and the Councils Statement of Reasons for making the Order, along with more detailed particulars of the scheme may be inspected between 9.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays (9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Wednesdays), until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford Essex IG1 1NN.
  • 4 Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.

  • a the east side, between the northern kerb-line of Manford Way service road and the southern kerb-line of Hursley Road.
  • b the west side
    • i between the northern kerb-line of Manford Way service road and a point 9.0 metres north of that kerb-line;
    • ii between the southern kerb-line of Hursley Road and a point 9.0 metres south of that kerb-line.

Hursley Road

  • a the south side, between a point 10.0 metres west of the western kerb-line of Fallow Close and a point 10.0 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Fallow Close;
  • b the south side, between a point 10.0 metres west of the western kerb-line of Fernie Close and a point 10.0 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Fernie Close.

Manford Way, service road

  • a the north side, between a point 10.0 metres west of the western kerb-line of Fallow Close and a point 10.0 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Fallow Close;
  • b the north side, between a point 10.0 metres west of the western kerb-line of Fernie Close and a point 10.0 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Fernie Close.
