NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of has made on 28th June 2012 the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to improve the traffic conditions and road safety in Wayside NW11 the existing Golders Green CPZ will be extended to include Wayside NW11, the general effect of the Waiting and Loading order will be to introduce lengths of ‘At Any Time’, Monday to Friday 11am to 12 midday and Monday to Friday 1pm to 2pm waiting restrictions in Wayside. Loading and unloading will be permitted on yellow line restrictions for up to forty minutes, provided that the loading and unloading was seen to be continuous.

The general effect of the Parking Places Order will allow any person who is a resident of Wayside to be eligible to purchase resident permits and/or visitors vouchers enabling them and their visitors to park in any parking place with an ‘H’ permit identifier within the CPZ. Resident permits cost £105 per year for the first vehicle, £130 for the second vehicle and £155 for the third vehicle. A £5 discount will be applied to online applications. A maximum of three permits can be purchased per household. Visitor vouchers cost £50 per batch of twelve vouchers, up to a maximum of 20 batches per household per year. Holders of disabled persons blue badges and motorcycles are exempt from all parking charges. The Council currently issue a range of other permits which can be used in the Golders Green CPZ as follows:

The Order will come into operation on Monday 30th July 2012. Copies of the Orders, plan of the relevant area and the Council's Statements of Reasons for making the Orders can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays and Public Holidays excepted) inclusive for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at:

  • a the Design Team, 2nd Floor, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1NP;
  • b Hendon Town Hall, Reception, The Burroughs, London NW4 4BQ.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulation made there-under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
