THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that she proposes to make an Order under Legislation section: section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of a length of Aston Road, an eastern part width of Aston Road comprising its Footway, an irregular shaped length and southern part width of Aston Road extending into Hambledon Road at Waterlooville in the Borough of Havant.

IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable the development to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd by Havant Borough Council on 22 December 2011 under reference APP/10/00793.

COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED at all reasonable hours during 28 days commencing on 28 June 2012 at Waterlooville Library, 25 London Road, Waterlooville, PO7 7DT and may be obtained free of charge from the Secretary of State at the offices of the Department for Transport (quoting reference NATTRAN/SE/S247/551) at the address stated below.

ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order within the period of 28 days commencing on 28 June 2012 by notice to the Secretary of State, quoting the above reference, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, 2nd Floor, Lancaster House, Hampshire Court, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7YH .

In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.
