THE BEXLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (NO. 1) ORDER 2012

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley, have made the above titled Traffic Order on the 25 June 2012, under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Order, which will come into operation on the 2 July 2012 will be to consolidate and bring into one Order all the defined lengths of waiting and loading restrictions applying throughout the London Borough of Bexley without changing anything with regard to the dimensions or locations of those lengths of restrictions and to reproduce the articles and provisions which regulate the enforcement of those restrictions without changing their general effect.
  • 3 A copy of the Order, of the previous Orders consolidated by this Order and a Statement of Reasons for making the Order will be available for inspection for a period of 6 weeks from the date of the making of the Order at the Council Offices at the Contact Centre, London Borough of Bexley, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB during normal office hours. Copies of the Order may be purchased from the London Borough of Bexley, Public Realm Management, Traffic and Parking Services, P.O. Box 323, Broadway, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 9GQ.
  • 4 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not made within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may make application for the purpose to the High Court before the expiration of 6 weeks from the date on which this Order is made.
