THE BROMLEY (ON STREET PARKING PLACES) (BECKENHAM AREA) ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2012.

(VARIOUS LOCATIONS)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 14th June 2012 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 2nd July 2012.

The effect of the Orders would be to:

  • a introduce waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
  • b introduce Pay by Mobile phone parking places as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

A copy of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

WAITING RESTRICTIONS

No Waiting At Any Time:

COPLEY DENE, Bromley, both sides, from the eastern kerbline of Sundridge Avenue eastwards for a distance of 10m.

HAWKSBROOK LANE, Beckenham, (a) the south side, from the south eastern kerbline of the north east to south west arm of Hawksbrook Lane at its junction with St Dunstan’s Lane eastwards for a distance of 12m; (b) both sides, from the southern kerblines of St. Dunstan’s Lane and the west to east arm of Hawksbrook Lane south westwards to a point 18m south west of the southern kerbline of the west to east arm of Hawksbrook Lane.

LUCAS ROAD, Penge, both sides, from the south eastern kerbline of St. John’s Road south eastwards for a distance of 7m.

PHOENIX ROAD, Penge, both sides, from the north western kerbline of St. John’s Road north westwards for a distance of 6m.

SOUTHLANDS GROVE, Bickley, the north side, (i) from the eastern boundary of No. 1 Newton Court eastwards for a distance of 10m; (ii) from a point 9m west of the eastern boundary of No. 1 Newton Court westwards for a distance of 10m.

ST. DUNSTAN’S LANE, Beckenham, the south side, from the north western kerbline of Hawksbrook Lane westwards for a distance of 14m.

ST. JOHN’S ROAD, Penge, both sides, from a point 6m south west of the south western kerbline of Phoenix Road north eastwards to a point 6m north east of the north eastern kerbline of Phoenix Road.

SUNDRIDGE AVENUE, Bromley, the east side, from a point 10m north of the northern kerbline of Copley Dene southwards to a point 10m south of the southern kerbline of Copley Dene.

PAY BY MOBILE PHONE PARKING PLACES

Pay by Mobile phone parking between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays. 70p per hour – 2 hours maximum stay:

SHAFTESBURY ROAD, Beckenham, (a) the north east side, from a point 11m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Croydon Road south eastwards for a distance of 12m (approx 2 parking spaces); (b) the south west side, from a point 11m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Croydon Road south eastwards for a distance of 13m (approx 3 parking spaces).
