in which only vehicles authorised by the Order may be left without charge;

• b specify, in respect of the parking places, that disabled persons’ vehicles displaying in the relevant position a disabled person’s badge (commonly referred to as the “Blue Badge”) issued by any local authority under the provisions of the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) Regulations 1975, 1982 or 2000 may be left therein;
• c provide that certain other vehicles may wait in the parking places in certain circumstances, e.g. to load or unload;
• d lengthen the parking places at the following locations: (i) No. 129 Sheringham Avenue E12 (lengthen by 1 metre in a southerly direction); (ii) No. 33 St. Bernard’s Road E6 (lengthen by 0.5 metre in a northerly direction);
• e revoke redundant disabled persons’ parking places in various roads;
• f transfer the designation of community disabled person’s parking places from the Free Parking Places order to the community parking order. There would be no change to current controls.

• 3 Copies of the Orders, which come into force on 30 January 2012, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road, E16 2QU.
• 4 If any person wishes to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they or it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
