Notice is hereby given that on 28th November, 2011, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, the Local Planning Authority for the area, designated the Letwell Conservation Area as an area of special architectural or historic interest the character or appearance of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance, under Legislation section: section 69 of the Legislation: Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 . The effect of the designation is to subject the properties at Ramper Road, Church Lane, Barker Hades Road, Gildingwells Road, shown on the plan attached to the report to the Cabinet Member for Town Centres, Economic Growth and Prosperity on 28th November 2011, to the provisions of Part II of the Act and to the restriction of certain permitted development rights under the Legislation: Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 .
