THE BRENT (PARKING PLACES) (NO. 3, 2004) (AMENDMENT NO. 3) ORDER 2011

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent have made the above-mentioned Order under Legislation section: sections 45, Legislation section: 46, Legislation section: 49 and Legislation section: 124 of and Legislation section: Part IV of Legislation section: Schedule 9 to the Legislation: Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Legislation section: section 8 of and Legislation section: Part 1 of Legislation section: Schedule 5 to the Legislation: Local Government Act 1985, the Parking Acts of 1986 and 1989 and the Legislation: Traffic Management Act 2004 .
  • 2 The general effect of the ‘Parking Places Amendment’ Order would be to convert the existing pay and display parking places outside the Islamia School Centre, No. 129 Salusbury Road into a shared use parking place.
  • 3 A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 3 October 2011, a map of the relevant area and of the relevant Order of 2004 can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at:-
    • a The One Stop Shop, Brent Town Hall, Forty Lane, Wembley, Middx, HA9 9HX ; and
    • b The One Stop Shop, Brent House, 349-357 High Road, Wembley, Middx, HA9 6BZ .
  • 4 Copies of the Order may be purchased from the address mentioned in paragraph 3(b) above.
  • 5 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Legislation: Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
