AMENDMENT TO WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES IN ABBOTSTONE ROAD, FANTHORPE STREET, FELSHAM ROAD AND HOTHAM ROAD SW15

THE WANDSWORTH (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREAS) (AMENDMENT NO.377) ORDER 2011
- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 6 th September 2011 made the above Orders under section 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
- 2 The general effect of the first Order will be to re-designate the permit holders only parking bays operating from 9.30am to 10.30am, Monday to Friday, in Abbotstone Road as shared use (permit holders/pay and display) parking bays operating from 9.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Saturday. The general effect of the first Order will also be to re-designate the permit holders only parking bays operating from 9.30am to 10.30am, Monday to Friday, in Fanthorpe Street, Felsham Road (between its junctions with Stanbridge Road and Erpingham Road) and Hotham Road (between its junctions with Erpingham Road and Abbotstone Road) as shared use (permit holders/pay and display) parking bays operating from 9.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Pay and display parking facilities will allow a four-hour maximum stay. The general effect of the second Order will be to amend the yellow line waiting restrictions that currently apply from 9.30am to 10.30am, Monday to Friday in the lengths of road listed, to operate at the same times as the parking bays. Existing waiting restrictions that operate for longer hours would remain the same.
- 3 Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 12th September 2011, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made in The Concourse, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

- 5 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
