NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on 14 December 2009 made these Orders, as modified under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to:

  • a To introduce double yellow `at any time’ waiting restrictions in Byng Place between Gordon Square and Malet Street.
  • b Remove a pay & display parking place on the south side of Byng Place.
  • c move and extend a solo motorcycle parking bay and a residents bay opposite no.87 Queen’s Crescent;
  • d remove a 4.0 metre length of resident parking place in Marsden Street and replace with double yellow lines outside entrance to Southfleet to allow space for recycling bins.
  • e Extend existing residents bay opposite Southfleet by 2.2 metres.
  • f Reduce by 3.1 metres the existing double yellow line adjacent to 13 Ardwick Road and 2 Ranulf Road to provide additional residents parking space.
  • g Remove the existing residents parking place outside no.13/14 Highgate West Hill to introduce a new zebra crossing at this location.
  • h Reduce by 6.0 metres the existing residents parking place outside no.50 St. Augustine’s Road and replace with a disabled persons parking place.
  • i Convert existing disabled persons parking place to a dedicated disabled parking bay outside no.125 Iverson Road.
  • j Make a dedicated disabled persons parking place outside no.121 Fordwych Road.
  • k Add a disabled persons parking place in Redhill Street outside Bagshott House.

A copy of the Orders which will come into force on 29 December 2009, together with the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Fridays inclusive at the Culture and Environment Reception Desk, fifth floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street, WC1H 8EQ.

Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
