THE CAMDEN (PARKING PLACES) (CA-U) (AMENDMENT NO.*15*) TRAFFIC ORDER 2009

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Council of the London Borough of Camden propose to make these Orders under Section 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985(b), and Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 (c), and of all other powers thereunto enabling hereby make the following Order.

The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to:

  • a Convert single to double yellow lines ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions on the east side opposite no.85 Swain’s Lane for a distance of 60.38 metres.
  • b To add a new 5.0 metre length of residents parking place adjacent to the existing pay & display in Swain’s Lane.
  • c To remove the motorcycle parking place outside no.46 Sumatra Road and convert it to residents space.
  • d To Convert single to double yellow lines `at any time’ waiting restrictions on the east side outside no.7 Glenloch Road for a distance of 4.9 metres
  • e To revoke the existing motorcycle parking places in Gate Street and Drury Lane;
  • f To relocate the existing two motorcycle parking places in Kingsgate Road to account for the footway build-out.
  • g To convert some of the double yellow line adjacent to the entrance of Cobble Mews, Highgate West Hill back to single yellow.

A copy of the proposed Orders and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected/obtained at the Culture and Environment Reception Desk, fifth floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street, WC1H 8EQ.

Any person wishing to object or make representations to the proposed Orders, should send your comments in writing, giving your reasons for any objection to the Director of Culture and Environment Directorate, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street, London WC1H 8EQ, to reach this Department by 21 January 2010 within 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published.
