THE BEXLEY (BEXLEYHEATH TOWN CENTRE) (PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO….) TRAFFIC ORDER 200X

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 47 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
  • 2 The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No…) Traffic Order 200X would be to further amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2009 so that :—

“At any time” waiting restrictions are reduced to Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 5.30pm waiting restrictions in parts of Woolwich Road, Bexleyheath.

  • 3 The general effect of the Bexley (Bexleyheath Town Centre)(Parking Places) (Amendment No. ) Traffic Order 2009 would be to further amend the Bexley (Bexleyheath Town Centre)(Parking Places) Traffic Order 2009 so as to:—

reduce in length the existing parking bays on the west side of Woolwich Road, between North Street and Pelham Road (to enable the introduction of ‘School Keep Clear’ markings) and to convert the operation of those bays from ‘shared use’ parking meter and Resident permit bays to Resident permit only bays.

  • 4 Copies of the proposed Orders, the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2009; the Bexley (Bexleyheath Town Centre)(Parking Places) Traffic Order 2009; (and the Orders that have amended these Orders), the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and a map which indicates the length of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB.

  • 6 Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objections and the grounds thereof, to Traffic and Road Safety Group, Wyncham House, 2nd Floor, 207 Longlands Road, Sidcup DA15 7JH within the above 28 days.
  • 7 Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.
