THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (Yorkshire & The Humber) (No. 57) Order 2009” authorising the stopping up of an eastern part width of Hall Lane, abutting the western boundary of Corner Cottage, at Brafferton in the District of Hambleton to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted to Mr & Mrs P Wright by Hambleton District Council on 5 May 2009 under reference 09/00519/FUL.

COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH (quoting reference NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/122) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours c/o Heather Raines at Helperby Post Office, Main Street, Helperby, YO61 2NT .

ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 23 December 2009 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

Planning permission is granted for alterations and extensions to existing dwelling and construction of a boundary wall as amended by plan received by Hambleton District Council on 9 and 21 April 2009 at Corner Cottage, The Orchards, Braffterton, North Yorkshire.
