TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (North East) (No.24) Order 2009” authorising the stopping up of three southern part widths of the B6320 comprising highway verge as lie to the north east of the former Bellingham Auction Mart Site, Bellingham, Northumberland to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted to Hexham Auction Mart Co. Ltd by Tynedale District Council on 25 October 2005 under reference 20050571 and reserved matters approval granted to Gladedale (Newcastle) Ltd on 21 February 2008 under reference 20071304.
COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH (quoting reference NATTRAN/NE/S247/02) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Post Office, Lock Up Lane, Bellingham, Hexham, Northumberland NE48 2AA.
ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 23 October 2009 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

Outline planning permission is granted for the construction of 65 dwellings and construction of public car park and play area; and reserved matters approval to those matters (site layout; car ports, plans, sections and elevations; streetscapes; proposed boundary layout; and planting) reserved by condition 1 of the outline planning permission, at former Bellingham Auction Mart Site, Bellingham, Hexham, Northumberland NE44 2BB.
