THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No.33) Order 2009” authorising the stopping up of a western part width of Slough Road, Eton College, comprising pavement area as extends in a northerly direction from the entrance stairs of the Memorial Buildings for a distance of 9.7 metres having a maximum width of 1.8 metres at Windsor, in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted to Mr P Tilbury, Herbert J Stribling and Partners by The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council on 2 January 2009 under reference 08/02781.

COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH (quoting reference NATTRAN/SE/S247/93) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Eton Stationers (Post Office), 137 High Street, Eton, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 6AR.

ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 23 October 2009 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
