THE GREENWICH (NO STOPPING) (NO. 1) (REVOCATION NO. *) ORDER 200*

• 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Greenwich Borough Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
• 2 The general effect of the Orders would be to:
  • a formalise the existing waiting restrictions for vehicles in Boord Street for which the controlled hours are “at any time”; and
  • b resolve discrepancies between existing Orders and current on-street road markings with regards to waiting restrictions in John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way, Swingate Lane, Vincent Road, Walnut Tree Road and West Parkside.
• 3 A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Directorate of Regeneration, Enterprise and Skills, Strategic Transportation, Greenwich Council, Crown Building, 48 Woolwich New Road, SE18 6HQ.

• 5 Any person who wishes to object to or make other representations about the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing, specifying the grounds on which any objection is made, to the Council’s agents: Traffic Orders Team, Project Centre, 14b St Cross Street, London, EC1N 8XA (quoting reference PCL/TMO/PJ/1070), to arrive by 10th November 2009.
• 6 Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council would be legally obliged to make any comments received in response to this notice, open to public inspection.
