  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 16 th October 2009 the Council of the London Borough of Hackney made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
  • 2 The general effect of the Orders will be to:
    • a reduce 10.9m of existing shared use bay opposite numbers 5-9 and replace with double yellow lines (no waiting at any time) restrictions;
    • b replace 15m of existing double yellow line (no waiting at any time restriction) with an 18m 4 hour shared use bay opposite the Dunloe Street junction.
  • 3 Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 21 st October 2009, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the expiration of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, in the reception area, London Borough of Hackney, 263 Mare Street, London, E8 3HT.   • 4 If any person wishes to question the validity of either of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
