  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
  • 2 The general effect of the Orders would be to:-
    • a replace sections of Zone D(c) resident permit parking on Graham Road between Royal Oak Road and Navarino Road with a new puffin pedestrian crossing and relocated bus stops;
    • b replace sections of Zone D (n) resident permit parking on Graham Road between Navarino Road and Greenwood Road with a new puffin pedestrian crossing;
    • c provide additional Zone C parking bays on Graham Road outside nos 71 – 77;
    • d extend the existing westbound bus lane on Graham Road between Greenwood Road and Queensbridge Road and increase the hours of operation to Mon – Sat 7am – 7pm;
    • e upgrade the waiting and loading restrictions in the westbound bus lane to “No waiting or loading Mon – Sat 7am – 7pm”;
    • f introduce new “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions outside Nos. 138 – 142 Graham Road and 116 – 120 Graham Road;
    • g remove a redundant disabled bay outside no 77/79 Graham Road.
  • 3 Copies of the Orders, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the expiration of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, in the reception area, London Borough of Hackney, 263 Mare Street, London, E8 3HT.   • 4 Any objections or other representations to any of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Assistant Director (Public Realm) at the address specified in paragraph 3 above within 21 days from the date on which this notice this published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
