The P.D. Pension Plan (“the Plan”) was established by an interim trust deed on 30 March 1949 to provide employees of the Powell Duffryn Group of Companies with pensions and other benefits. Members may remember the Plan named as:

Notice is hereby given by the Managers responsible for the administration of the Plan (the “Managers”) of the proposal to wind up the Plan and distribute its assets in accordance with the trust deed and rules governing the Plan.

Any person who is a member or former member of the Plan or otherwise believes that he or she has or may have any claim against or entitlement to the Plan’s assets in accordance with the Plan’s trust deed and rules must, within 2 months of the date of this publication, send notice containing particulars of this claim to the address below.

Members of the Plan and other beneficiaries with whom the Managers or the Plan’s administrators are already in contact need not respond to this notice since their interests have already been noted.

Any notice must include the person’s full name, address, date of birth, employer, details of their period of employment to which their claim applies and any other relevant details and be sent to the following address:

The Managers are not obliged to consider any notice received at any time after 2 months from the date of this publication for the purposes of distributing the assets of the Plan.
