TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (North East) (No.09) Order 2009” authorising the stopping up of an 8.5 metre cul-de-sac offshoot length of Castledene Road as runs between Nos. 71 and 73 (odds) Castledene Road, and a north western part width of Iveston Road as lies just to the north east of No. 67 Iveston Road, at Consett, Derwentside to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted to Derwentside Council & Homes by Derwentside District Council on 26 August 2008 under reference SCA/1/2008/0406/DMFP.
COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH (quoting reference NATTRAN/NE/S247/21) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Consett Library, Victoria Road, Consett DH8 5AT.
ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 21 April 2009 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

Planning permission is granted for the erection of nine two storey three bed dwellings at land to the rear of 69 – 83 Castledene Road, Delves Lane, County Durham.
