NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A STOPPING UP ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
PROPOSAL TO STOP UP PART OF THE PUBLIC HIGHWAY AT SMITHY LANE, FRISKNEY, BOSTON, LINCOLNSHIRE
NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 an application will be made to the Justices of the Peace of the Petty Sessional Division of Skegness on Wednesday 27 May 2009 at 11.00am at the Skegness Magistrates’ Court, The Court House, Park Avenue, Skegness Lincolnshire PE25 1BH for stopping up the public highway comprising approximately 1750 square metres of land forming Smithy Lane, Friskney. The land to be stopped up is shown on Drawing A and coloured red thereon.
The Drawing can be inspected at all reasonable times at the offices of Lincolnshire County Council, County Offices, Newland, Lincoln LN1 1YS (Main Reception) and East Lindsey District Council, Tedder Hall, Manby Park, Louth Lincolnshire LN11 8UP.
The Order sought is for stopping up the said area of land for the purposes of all traffic on the ground that it is unnecessary.
