STOPPING UP OF UNNECESSARY SECTION OF HIGHWAY
OAKDENE, WOODLESFORD, LEEDS LS26
Notice is hereby given that Leeds City Council intend to apply to the Leeds District Magistrates Court sitting at The Courthouse, Westgate, Leeds on Friday 1 May 2009 at 10.00 am for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the stopping-up of the following section of highway described in the Schedule hereto on the ground that it is unnecessary.
The section of highway to be stopped up is shown hatched on the Plan deposited at the Legal, Licensing & Registration Reception Desk, 1st Floor, St George House, Great George Street, Leeds 1 and at Rothwell Library, Marsh Street, Rothwell and may be inspected there free of charge during normal opening hours.
Any person wishing to object to the proposal or make representations about it, may appear at the Leeds District Magistrates Court on the date aforesaid. Any person intending to appear before the Court at the hearing of the application is asked to notify Mr J Knipe, Development Section, Legal, Licensing and Registration, Civic Hall, Leeds LS1 1UR (Quoting Ref A76/JAK/866948.)

Description of Section of Highway to be Stopped Up
An irregular shaped area of highway adjacent to premises known as 78 Church Street and 4 Station Road, Woodlesford, and having an area of approximately 120 square metres.
