NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991 that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Thames Water Utilities Limited for consent to discharge up to 61,000 cubic metres per day of waste water from water purification processes including pre-treatment and desalination to the Thames Tideway at National Grid Reference TQ 45470 81670 from Beckton Desalination Water Treatment Plant, Jenkins Lane, Barking, Essex, IG11 0AD.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Environment Agency, Water Quality Permitting Support Centre, PO Box 4209, Sheffield, S9 9BS, during the period 25/3/09 to 6/5/09 quoting reference NPSWQD006961.

Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties under the Freedom of Information Act or Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the Local Environment Agency office at 2 Bishops Square Business Park, St Albans Road West, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, AL10 9EX between the hours of 9 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays).
