THE GLA ROADS AND GLA SIDE ROADS (RICHMOND UPON THAMES) RED ROUTE CONSOLIDATION TRAFFIC ORDER 2007 A316 GLA ROAD AND GLA SIDE ROAD (LOWER MORTLAKE ROAD, SALISBURY ROAD) VARIATION ORDER 2009

THE GLA ROADS AND GLA SIDE ROADS (RICHMOND UPON THAMES) RED ROUTE CONSOLIDATION TRAFFIC ORDER 2007 A205 GLA ROAD AND GLA SIDE ROADS (UPPER RICHMOND ROAD WEST) VARIATION ORDER 2009

  • 1 Transport for London hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above named Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
  • 2 The general nature and effect of the Orders would be to prohibit vehicles from stopping at any time on—
    • a A316 Lower Mortlake Road, the south-east side from a point 1 metre north-east of the extended north-eastern building line of No. 29 St John’s Road to the opposite extended common boundary of 55 and 57 Lower Mortlake Road.
    • b Salisbury Road, (a) the north-east side from its junction with Lower Mortlake Road to a point 12 metres north-west of the extended common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Salisbury Road; and (b) the north-west side from its junction with Lower Mortlake Road to a point 2 metres north-west of the extended common boundary of Nos. 2 and 4 Salisbury Road.
    • c A205 Upper Richmond Road West, the south side from (a) a point 3 metres east of a point opposite the extended eastern boundary of No. 426 Upper Richmond Road West to a point 1 metre east of the extended western building line of No. 507 Upper Richmond Road West; and (b) from a point 2 metres east of the extended common boundary of Nos. 501 and 503 Upper Richmond Road West to the extended common boundary of Nos. 485 and 483 Upper Richmond Road West.
    • d Deanhill Road, the east side from its junction with A205 Upper Richmond Road West to the extended common boundary of Nos. 2 and 4 Deanhill Road.
    • e Coval Road, (a) the east side from its junction with Upper Richmond Road West to a point 4 metres south of the extended southern building line of No. 497 Upper Richmond Road West; and (b) the west side from its junction with Upper Richmond Road West to a point 4 metres south of the extended northern building line of No. 499 Upper Richmond Road West.
    • f Graemesdyke Avenue, the east side from its junction with A205 Upper Richmond Road West to a point 3 metres north of the extended southern building line of No. 392 Upper Richmond Road West.
    • g Carlton Road, (a) the east side from the junction of Upper Richmond Road West to a point 1 metre north of the extended southern building line of No. 362 Upper Richmond Road West; and (b) the west side from the junction of Upper Richmond Road West to the extended southern building line of No. 364 Upper Richmond Road West.
    • h A205 Upper Richmond Road West, the north side from (a) the eastern kerb-line of Graemsdyke Avenue to the extended common boundary of Nos. 378 and 380 Upper Richmond Road West; and (b) from a point 3 metres east of the extended common boundary of Nos. 364 and 366 Upper Richmond Road West to a point 3 metres west of the extended common boundary of Nos. 358 and 360 Upper Richmond Road West.
  • 3 The general nature and effect of the Orders would be to exempt vehicles from stopping at any time except for loading or unloading on—
    • a Upper Richmond Road West, the south side from a point 2 metres east of the extended common boundary of PO, Upper Richmond Road West and No. 503 Upper Richmond Road West to a point 1 metre east of the extended common boundary of Nos. 505 and 507 Upper Richmond Road West.
  • 4 The roads which would be affected by the Orders are the A316 Lower Mortlake Road, A316 Side Road (Salisbury Road), the A205 Upper Richmond Road West, and the A205 Side Roads (Deanhill Road, Graemsdyke Avenue, Carlton Road and Coval Road) in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames.
  • 5 A copy of the Orders, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals, a map indicating the location and effect of the Orders and copies of any Orders revoked, suspended or varied by the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of:
  • 6 All objections and other representations to the proposed Orders must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Streets Traffic Order Team, Palestra, 197 Blackfriars Road, London SE1 8NJ quoting reference RNM/STOT/TRO, GLA/2009/G10 and 011, to arrive before 15 April 2009. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
