THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (GOODS VEHICLE LOADING BAYS) (NO. *) ORDER 200*

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Orders would be to:
    • a revise the hours of operation of the existing single yellow line waiting and loading restrictions in Harrow Road, so that they would operate until 6.30 p.m. (currently 7.00 p.m.);
    • b introduce double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions in Ashmore Road, Fermoy Road, Portnall Road, Bravington Road, First Avenue and Second Avenue (extending for a distance of approximately 10 metres from their junctions with Harrow Road); and
    • c revise the hours of operation at the goods vehicle loading bays in Harrow Road (outside Nos. 391, 411 and 556), First Avenue, Portnall Road and Ashmore Road so that they would operate for 24 hours. The maximum stay at the bays would be 30 minutes, with the exception of the bay in Ashmore Road (2 hours).
  • 3 The proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London, SW1E 6AJ, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

  • 5 Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London, SW1E 6AJ, or email TMO@westonejv.co.uk quoting reference 5570/MG, by 10th April 2009. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
