THE CAMDEN (PARKING PLACES) (CA-N) (AMENDMENT NO.*) TRAFFIC ORDER 200*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on 12 March 2009 made these Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to:

  • a implement a cycle gap in South Villas at its junction with Camden Park Road;
  • b vehicles exiting South Villas at its junction with Camden Park Road, must turn left;
  • c remove 2.0 metres of the existing residents parking bay in Camden Park Road, south-east of its junction with South Villas; and
  • d move the existing residents parking bay in South Villas, adjacent to No. 39 Camden Park Road, 5.0 metres south-west.

A copy of the Orders which will come into force on 23 MARCH 2009, together with the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Fridays inclusive at the Culture and Environment Reception Desk, fifth floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street, WC1H 8EQ.

Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
