THE CITY OF LONDON CORPORATION hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of highway in Bishposgate, Great St Helens, Crosby Square and Undershaft, London EC2.

IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable development described in the Schedule to this Notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by the City of London Corporation on 30th day of November 2007 under reference number 06/01123/FULEIA as modified by the approval of details on 6th day of March 2008 under reference number 08/00046/MDC.

COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED between the hours of 9.15 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday during the 28 days commencing on Tuesday 10 March 2009, at the offices of the City of London Corporation, Guildhall North Wing, Basinghall Street, London EC2P 2EJ, or may be obtained, free of charge, by post from the Corporation (quoting reference PC 555 ) at the address stated below.

ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order within the above period in writing to The City Planning Officer, City of London, PO Box 270, Guildhall, London EC2P 2EJ, quoting the above reference.

In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

Redevelopment to provide a building arranged on three basement floors, ground and 62 upper floors comprising of floorspace for use within Classes B1 (office) and A (retail) of the Use Classes Order; the creation of new public realm and pedestrian routes; the provision of ancillary servicing and other works incidental to the development (149,834sq.m) at 22-24 Bishopsgate, 38 Bishopsgate (Crosby Court) and 4 Crosby Square, London EC2N 4BQ.
