THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT hereby gives notice that 19 February 2009 which is the date until when the draft orders, their related plans and Environmental Statement can be inspected and the date until when any objections can be made, is now substituted with the date 19 March 2009 thereby extending the period of time the draft orders and their related plans can be inspected and any objections can be made. Any reference to 19 February 2009 will be substituted with 19 March 2009 in the following documents:

The reason for extending the period for inspection and objection is to enable further time for consultation with those that have made, or are considering making an objection, prior to deciding whether a Public Inquiry should be held.

COPIES of each draft Order and the plans referred to in it and of the Environmental Statement may be inspected free of charge at all reasonable hours until 19 March 2009 at the Highways Agency, Woodlands, Manton Lane, Bedford, MK41 7LW; and at Suffolk County Council, Shire Hall, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 1RX; Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH; Forest Heath District Council, District Offices, College Heath Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7EY; Mildenhall Library, Chestnut Close, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7NL. Documents are also available at Thetford Library, Raymond Street, Thetford, Norfolk, IP24 2EA, but only until 21 February 2009. Copies of the Environmental Statement may be bought from the Highways Agency at the address given below priced at approximately £100 for a complete set (individual volumes priced separately) or a CD is available free of charge. A copy of the Environmental Statement is also available on-line at www.highways.gov.uk/roads/projects/4248.aspx

ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of The A11 Trunk Road (Fiveways to Thetford Improvement) Side Roads Order 20..; The A11 Trunk Road (Fiveways to Thetford Improvement and Slip Roads) Order 20..; The A11 Trunk Road (Fiveways to Thetford Improvement) (Detrunking) Order 20..; or comment on the Environmental Statement not later than 19 March 2009, by notice to the Secretary of State for Transport at the offices of the Highways Agency, Woodlands, Manton Lane, Bedford, MK41 7LW and marked for the attention of Sara Parker quoting reference HA 65/19/86. Any objection to an Order must give the grounds on which it is made.

Any objection to the draft A11 Trunk Road (Fiveways to Thetford Improvement) Compulsory Purchase Order (No. ) 20.. must be made in writing and addressed to the Secretary of State at the offices of the Highways Agency, Woodlands, Manton Lane, Bedford MK41 7LW to arrive before 19 March 2009 and should state the title of the Order and quote reference HA 65/19/86. It should give the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land.
