TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No. 03 ) Order 2009” authorising the stopping up of a western part width of the cul-de-sac Crofters End, comprising highway verge on the southern corner of the western entrance to the garages situated between Crofters End and Crofters, at Sawbridgeworth, in East Hertfordshire to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted to Calford Seadon by East Herts Council on 18 September 2008 under reference 3/08/1164/FP.

COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4WH (quoting reference NATTRAN/EM/S247/33) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Sawbridge Post Office, 8 Bell Street, Sawbridgeworth, Herts, CM21 9AA .

ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 5 February 2009 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

Planning permission is granted for the demolition of existing garages and erection of seven two storey, two bedroom detached, semi-detached and terraced houses with car parking at land adjacent to 33 and 35 Crofters End, Sawbridgeworth, Herts, CM21 0DF.
