ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A49 TRUNK ROAD (DINMORE HILL, HEREFORDSHIRE) (50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2005 VARIATION ORDER 2009
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under sections 84(1)(a) and (2) of, and paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A49 Trunk Road at Dinmore Hill in the District of the County of Herefordshire.
The effect of the Order, which comes into force on 12 February 2009, will be to amend the A49 Trunk Road (Dinmore Hill, Herefordshire) (50 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order 2005 by deleting from article 2 of that Order the number “150”, and substituting the number “168”. This will amend the northern terminal point of the 50 mph speed limit, which had been incorrectly described in that Order. The new description will correspond with the position of the existing road signs. A copy of the Order, together with a copy of the Order to be varied, plans illustrating the proposals and a Statement of the Secretary of State’s reasons for making the Order may be inspected during opening hours at Info in Herefordshire, Herefordshire Council, Hereford Centre, Garrick House, Widemarsh Street, Hereford HR4 9EU; Village Hall Notice Board, Hope under Dinmore Village Hall, Hope under Dinmore, Herefordshire; or may be seen at or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Traffic Operations Division, 5 Broadway, Broad Street, Birmingham, B15 1BL, during normal office hours.
