THE BEXLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 29) TRAFFIC ORDER 2009

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London borough of Bexley on 2nd February 2009 made the above mentioned Order under sections 6, and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedules 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 29) Traffic Order 2009 would be to further amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2007 so that:—

  • a at any time waiting restrictions are introduced on parts of Long Lane, Palmar Crescent and Palmar Road; and
  • b waiting restrictions, operating Monday to Friday, 10 am to 12 noon are introduced on parts of Palmar Crescent and Palmar Road.

3. A copy of the above Order, the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2007 (and the Orders that have amended that Order); the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders, and of a map which indicates the length of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected at The Contact Centre, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB, during normal office hours.

6. Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been compiled with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the day on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
