PROPOSED REVISION OF TOLL CHARGES

PUBLIC INQUIRY

Notice is hereby given that a Public Local Inquiry will be held by Mr N Taylor, an Inspector appointed for the purpose by the Secretary of State for Transport beginning at 10.00 am, on Tuesday 3 March 2009 at the Willerby Manor Hotel, Well Lane, Willerby, East Yorkshire HU10 6ER, in connection with the representation made by the Humber Bridge Board pursuant to section 10(1) of the Humber Bridge Act 1971, that in the circumstances now existing and in prospect the tolls authorised to be charged in respect of traffic passing over the Humber Bridge should be revised as follows:

7. Any other vehicle using the Bridge and not specifically identified in the above Classification shall be charged a toll by reference to the vehicle’s maximum gross vehicle weight and number of axles. The toll charged for the vehicle shall not exceed the toll specified at 2 to 6 for a vehicle with the same maximum vehicle weight and number of axles
