EUROPEAN PHARMACOPOEIA

The Ministers, that is to say the Secretary of State and the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety in Northern Ireland, acting jointly, hereby declare under section 65(7) of the Medicines Act 1968 that on and after 1 January 2009 the monographs contained in Supplement 6.3 to the Sixth Edition of the European Pharmacopoeia, published under the direction of the Council of Europe (Partial Agreement) in accordance with the Convention on the Elaboration of a European Pharmacopoeia, are to have effect for the purposes of section 65 of that Act.

Copies of the said Supplement to the Sixth Edition of the European Pharmacopoeia have been published by the Council of Europe, 67081 Strasbourg Cedex, France.
