PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF ONE ZEBRA CROSSING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Camden, having consulted the Metropolitan Police, London Borough of Islington and the Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that it proposes:
To introduce a new zebra crossing on York Way just south of its junction with Broadfield Lane. The standard zigzag markings on all entry and exit to the zebra crossing will run for 16 metres, with the exception of the north-western kerb line, which will be 24 metres and the south-eastern kerb line, which will be reduce to 8 metres.
A plan, drawing ref. No TE_REG_582_FC_01.DWG showing the proposed zebra crossing location may be inspected during normal office hours at the Culture and Environment Department Reception desk at the address mentioned below. Should any person wish to comment or make representations, they should send a statement in writing of their views and the grounds thereof to the Director of Culture and Environment Directorate, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street, WC1H 8EQ, to reach this Department by 20 NOVEMBER 2008 within 21 days on which this notice is published.
