INCREASE OF LOADING/UNLOADING PERIOD IN RESTRICTED STREETS.
THE WALTHAM FOREST (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 2008
- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest (hereinafter called “the Council”) propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.
- 2 The general effect of the Order would be to increase the waiting time for vehicles, for the purposes of loading/unloading or the delivery or collection of goods, on any restricted street in the London Borough of Waltham Forest from twenty minutes to forty minutes.
- 3 A copy of the Order and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of 21 days from the date of this Notice at (a) The Information Desk, Town Hall, Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17; (b) The Waltham Forest Direct Shop, 772-776 High Road, Leyton, E10 and (c) The Reception Desk, The London Borough of Waltham Forest, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS.
- 4 Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order or to make any other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to Traffic Orders, Engineering Design, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS.
