LANCELOT PLACE

THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 354) ORDER 2008

• 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 15th October 2008 made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
• 2 The general effect of the Order will be to introduce “at any time” loading restrictions:
  • a on both sides of Lancelot Place:
    • i for approximately 15 metres northward from its junction with Brompton Road (covering that part of the road embedded with granite setts);
    • ii for approximately 6 metres northward from its junction with Trevor Square (covering that part of the road embedded with granite setts);
  • b on the east side of Lancelot Place along the full length of the kerb build-outs opposite Nos. 9 and 15 Lancelot Place;
  • c at the inner corner of the junction between Lancelot Place and Raphael Street for 7.5 metres southward and 9.1 metres eastward respectively; and
  • d on the north side of Raphael Street for 7.3 metres eastward from its junction with Lancelot Place.
• 3 The Order, which will come into force on 20th October 2008 and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AJ, until 26th November 2008.
• 4 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
