THE HOUNSLOW (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO.2) TRAFFIC ORDER 2008

• 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hounslow on 6 October 2008 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
• 2 The general effect of the 20mph Speed Limit Order would be to impose a speed limit of 20 miles per hour in the roads or lengths of road detailed in Schedule 2 of this Notice.
• 3 A copy of the Order as made; the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders; and plans depicting the lengths of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected at the Forms and Documents Counter of the Main Reception Area at the Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN, (between the hours of 8:45am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45-4:45pm on Friday) until the end of a period of six weeks from the date on which this Notice is published.
• 4 Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Street Management and Public Protection Department, telephone number 020 8583 3322.
• 5 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
