NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State for Transport has made an Order under sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A66 Trunk Road in the District of Richmondshire, which comes into force on Friday 10 October 2008.

The effect of the Order is as described in issue number 58768 of the London Gazette dated 17 July 2008 (ref: 570379).

A copy of the Order and the relevant Plan have been deposited at The Post Office, East Road, Melsonby, North Yorkshire, DL10 5NF and Richmond Community Centre, Zetland Square, Dundas Street, Richmond, DL10 7BP, where they may be inspected during normal opening hours. The documents may also be seen at, or obtained by application from, the office of the Director, Network Operations (Yorkshire & North East), The Highways Agency, 3rd Floor South, Lateral, 8 City Walk, Leeds, LS11 9AT, quoting reference number HA 41/7/210.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers contained in the above Act, or any requirement of the above Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with, may apply to the High Court before Friday 21 November 2008 to suspend or quash the Order or any part of it.
