THE A4123 TRUNK ROAD (SANDWELL AND DUDLEY) (DETRUNKING) ORDER 2008

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT hereby gives notice that she has made the following Order, which comes into force on 13th November 2008:

An Order under sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980, which provides that a length of the A4123 Trunk Road starting from a point on the A4123, 75m south of the centre of the A4123/A463(west) Shaw Road junction, Wolverhampton, to a point 8m north of the centre of the A4123/A456 Hagley Road junction, Birmingham, shall cease to be a trunk road, and shall be classified as a principal road as from the date on which the Order comes into force.

COPIES of the Order and the plans referred to in it may be inspected free of charge at all reasonable hours at the following locations:

Any person wishing to question the validity of, or any provision contained in, the Order, on the ground that it is not within the powers with respect to the Order conferred by the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of, or any instrument made under, any provision of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 2nd October 2008, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or any provision contained therein.
