THE LEWISHAM (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. 4) TRAFFIC ORDER 2008

THE LEWISHAM (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 118) TRAFFIC ORDER 2008

  • 1 Notice is hereby given that Lewisham Council made these two orders under the provisions of section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 25 September 2008. Both orders come into force on 15 October 2008.
  • 2 The general nature and effect of the two orders are respectively to—
    • a change the restrictions in the northeastern arm of Tanner’s Hill (onto which front 1-29 odds & 2-8 evens Tanner’s Hill and 52 Deptford Broadway) to the following:-
      • i prohibition of all motor vehicles from the northeastern arm of Tanner’s Hill, except for emergency access, essential utility and highway authority servicing and building works; and
      • ii rescindment of the one-way working southwestbound restriction; and
      ii rescindment of the one-way working southwestbound restriction; and
    • b alter the waiting restriction at Tanner’s Hill east side between the A2 red route side road restriction and Tanner’s Hill northeastern arm, a 22 metres length, to No Waiting Mondays to Saturdays 7.00 am to 7.00 pm, allowing loading and unloading but not parking.
  • 3 Documents giving more detailed particulars of the orders and measures can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the office of Lewisham Transport Policy & Development, Wearside Service Centre, Wearside Road, Ladywell, London SE13 (tel 020 8314 2265).
  • 4 Any person wishing to question the validity of either order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument or relevant regulation made under the Act has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
