NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991 that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by BAE Systems (Operations) Limited to vary an existing consent to discharge secondary treated sewage effluent to the Humber Estuary at National Grid Reference SE 94200 25640 from BAE Systems LTD, Brough, Nr Hull, East Yorkshire, HU15 1EQ.

The application requests an increase of the maximum discharge volume from 400 cubic metres per day to 632 cubic metres per day.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Environment Agency, Water Quality Permitting Support Centre, PO Box 4209, Sheffield, S9 9BS, during the period 10/9/08 to 22/10/08 quoting reference NPSWQD003455.

Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties under the Freedom of Information Act or Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the Local Environment Agency office at Environment Agency, Public register, Phoenix House, Global Avenue, Leeds, LS11 8PG between the hours of 9 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays).
