STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS (COUNTY OF CAMBRIDGESHIRE) (NO. 4) ORDER 2008

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that, on the application of Savell Bird & Axon, she has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (County of Cambridgeshire) (No. 4) 2008” authorising the stopping up of areas of all purpose highway land at Edith Cavell Hospital, Bretton Gate, Bretton, Peterborough PE3 9GZ, to enable the construction of energy centre with 32m flue; waste compound; hospital clinical areas; surface car parks adjacent to Cavell Close (SW of site) and decked car park (east of site) - amendments to planning permission 05/01269/FUL, to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to Multiplex Construction UK Ltd by Peterborough City Council on 12 June 2006 under reference 06/00643/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the East of England (Planning Casework Team), Eastbrook, Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge CB2 8DF (quoting reference GT/R0525/35/01/08), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Peterborough City Council, Bridge House, Town Bridge, Peterborough PE1 1HB and Bretton Post Office, Bretton Centre, Bretton, Peterborough PE3 8DN.

Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 8 September 2008 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
