THE HARINGEY (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. *) (NO.*) TRAFFIC ORDER 2008

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey, hereinafter called the Council, on 5th September 2008 made the above mentioned Order under section 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Order will be to amend the Haringey (Off Street Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 1982. so as to:
    • a introduce parking places in Garnham Road Car Park located opposite No. 62 Garnham Road operational between the hours of 8.30am and 6.30pm Mondays to Fridays with extended operational hours during Spurs Match Day events when the following hours will apply; Mondays to Fridays 8am to 8.30pm and Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays noon to 4.30pm. This is in line with the operational hours of the CPZ; and
    • b introduce the following charging tariff in Garman Road Car Park N17.
  • 3 Copy of the Order, which will come into operation on the 5th September 2008 council’s statement of reason for making the Order and plans showing the locations and effect of the Order may be inspected during a period of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, during normal office working hours Copy of the proposed Order and of the Council’s statement of reason for making the Order and a plan showing the locations and effect of the Order may be inspected during a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published, during normal office working hours at Traffic Management Group, River Park House, 225 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8HQ.
  • 4 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that and of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
