THE WEST SUSSEX COUNTY COUNCIL ((MID SUSSEX DISTRICT) (PARKING PLACES AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) (CONSOLIDATION NO.2) ORDER 2006)

(TEMPORARY BOLNORE ROAD) ORDER 2008

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than twenty one days from the date of this notice, West Sussex County Council intend to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:—

• introduce a prohibition of waiting between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Saturday on both sides of BOLNORE ROAD, Haywards Heath from the extent of the existing double yellow lines south of its junction with Butler’s Green Road, southwards to the double yellow lines at its junction with Wealden Way; and

• introduce a prohibition of waiting between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Saturday on both sides of BOLNORE ROAD, Haywards Heath from the existing double yellow lines south of its junction with Beech Hurst Close, southwards to a point adjacent to Grosvenor Hall.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.

The Order is necessary to comply with specified planning conditions regarding the permitted accesses to the Bolnore Village site. Parking restrictions are required to allow the freeflow of traffic on the highway and the safe movement of construction vehicles entering the site.

The Order will come into effect on 29th September 2008 and will last for 5 years as this is the expected duration of the Bolnore Village development.

The Order will be revoked upon completion of the works or as soon as it is practicable to remove the parking restrictions.
