THE WARWICK DISTRICT COUNCIL OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES ORDER 2008

  • 1 Notice is hereby given that Warwick District Council proposes to make an amendment to the current Order under the powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (as amended) and Part 6 of The Traffic Management Act 2004.
  • 2 The general effect of the amendment Order is—
    • a Leamington Car Parks – Royal Priors
  • 3 In all other respects the provisions of the present Orders will apply, including exemptions from payment for disabled drivers displaying a disabled badge and where necessary a time clock and 15 minutes free parking for motor vehicles displaying the aforementioned ticket (excluding coaches) on all car parks.
  • 4 Copies of the Order together with a statement of this Council’s reasons for proposals can be inspected at the offices at Riverside House, Milverton Hill, Leamington Spa, the Warwick District Council offices at Pageant House, Jury Street, Warwick and at Warwickshire Direct – Kenilworth, Smalley Place, Kenilworth, during normal office hours.

To remove the 15 Minute Free Ticket, up to One hour, One to Two and Four to Six hour charges.
To introduce a new Up to Two hour charge of: £1.00
To increase the Two to Three hours charge from: £2.00
To increase the Three to Four hours charge from: £2.90 to £3.00
To introduce a new Four to Five hours charge of: 5.00
To introduce a new Five to Six hours charge of: £8.00
To increase the Over six hours from: £6.00 to £8.00
  • b Leamington Car Parks – Limited Stay

To remove the maximum stay of 2 hours and change

Bedford Street, Chandos Street and Covent Garden

Surface to Short Stay car parks

One and two hours charges to remain the same.

To introduce a new two to three hours charge of: £2.50
To introduce a new three to four hours charge of: £3.00
To introduce a new three to four hours charge of: £4.50
To introduce a new Over six hours charge of: £6.50

Any objections to the proposals contained in the Amendment Order should be made in writing stating the grounds thereof and addressed to me at the address below no later than 14 September 2008.
