THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS A LOCAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY hereby gives notice that an Order has been made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “Stopping up of Highways, London Borough of Croydon 13-28 Sumner Gardens, Croydon Stopping Up Order N°3, 2008” to authorise the stopping up of Sumner Gardens (part) and a realignment of the Sumner Gardens footways to enable the development described in the schedule to this Notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permissions granted to the London Borough of Croydon on the 27th July 2007 under reference 07/01708/PR.

COPIES OF THE ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE OBTAINED FREE OF CHARGE on application to the London Borough of Croydon, Planning and Transportation Department, Urban Regeneration Division, Highway Records Section, Taberner House,18th Floor, South Side, Park Lane, Croydon, CR9 1JT (Quoting reference URD/HR/BJC/H1093/2008) and may also be inspected at all reasonable hours at the Council Offices of the London Borough of Croydon, Planning and Transportation One Stop Reception Desk, Ground Floor, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon CR9 3JS.

ANY PERSON aggrieved by the order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the order, may, within 6 weeks of 9th July 2008, apply to the High Court for suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
