THE BARNET (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING IN AMBULANCE BAYS) TRAFFIC ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers

In order to prevent obstructive parking, improve traffic flow and general road safety, the general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order would be to introduce new waiting restrictions in the borough, as follows.

At any time waiting restrictions would be provided around the junctions of:

Nether Street and Lansdowne Road N3; Nether Street and Finchley Way N3; Nether Street and Nether Close N3; Nether Street and Howcroft Crescent N3 (both arms); Nether Street and Penstemon Close N3; and Nether Street and West Avenue N3; Lullington Garth, Frith Lane and Partingdale Lane (by upgrading existing Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm waiting restrictions).

At any time waiting restrictions would be provided on certain lengths of:

Nether Street N3; Frith Lane (new waiting restrictions and by upgrading existing Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm waiting restrictions); Lullington Garth (by upgrading existing Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm waiting restrictions).

The general effect of the Golders Green Parking Places Order would be to remove approximately 3 resident permit parking spaces outside No. 84 West Heath Road N3, which would be replaced by at any time waiting restrictions, in order to improve traffic flow and road safety.

The Golders Green Parking Places Order would effect the removal of free parking spaces outside Hanover Mead, Woodlands NW11, while the general effect of the Prohibition of Stopping in Ambulance Bays Order would be to provide an Ambulance Bay in their place.

A copy of the proposed Orders, a plan of the relevant areas and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at:

(a) Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London, N11 1NP

(b) Hendon Library (Information Desk 1st Floor), The Burroughs, London NW4 4BQ

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a written statement explaining their objection to the Design Team at the above address within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
